Dear Tiffany,
ReplyDeleteYou have so much going on in your life and have given this course scholarly attention. You have represented yourself well in the course discussions and blogs, and insights gleaned for us from Dr. Nagel’s resources. Your posts are ones I look forward to reading. When you respond, we don’t get away so easily, as you thoughtfully pose questions to encourage critical and solutions oriented thinking.
You are an overcomer and a success - a quite an amazing woman! Our challenges help to shape our character, and you are using that energy to fulfill responsibilities, creatively brave new worlds, and attain you goals.
You deserve the best of good fortune and blessings ~
Mary Coole
Tiffany, I love your quotes on play. Spock's is particularly interesting: "A child loves his play, not because it's easy, but because it's hard." We all need to play - even grown ups.
ReplyDeleteDear Tiffany,
I have taken a number of courses at Walden and had various groups of classmates; however, you are a very special group of people, significantly different. I can tell you the difference, I can only speculate why.
Never have I encountered a group of individuals willing to share so deeply and so intimately about their lives and issues they have faced. Revealing how those challenges related to the topics in this course has had such an impact - real issues, real people. Each story has been touching. This course has not been just an intellectual exercise. Your contributions have reflected and fostered empathy and compassion, the basis for altruism. I believe it is those qualities and an unselfish devotion to the best outcome for each child’s development that separates you.
Thank you and God bless!
Mary
